Winds have started to pick back up Thursday afternoon.

They'll continue to strengthen Thursday night and into Friday.

Starting 3AM Friday, and lasting until midnight, a high wind warning is in effect for Glacier, Toole, Pondera, Teton, Cascade, and Judith Basin County, as well as Nothern Lewis and Clark County.

Along the Rocky Mountain Front winds will gust has high as 80 mile per hour, and as high as 60 miles per hour farther east.

Gusts over 30 miles per hour will be common all across North Central Montana.

The strong winds will also bring in warmer temperatures.

Highs will be in the 40s and 50s across nearly the entire state on Friday!

However, we're still tracking a few areas of snow.

Heavy mountain snow is expected along and west of the divide Thursday night and Friday.

The snow, combined with very strong winds, will make travel over Marias Pass extremely difficult.
