Our weather is going to be fairly active the next few days!
We're currently tracking some snow in Northeast Montana.
That will drop a few inches of new snow this evening, with 2 to 4 inches expected in Daniels and Sheridan County, enough that a winter weather advisory is in effect until 9PM Wednesday night.
On Thursday most of us will be staying dry, save for some snow along and west of the divide.
Helena may see a stray rain or snow shower through the day.
In general Thursday is looking mild and breezy, with winds gusting up to 30 miles per hour, and temperatures ranging from the mid 40s, to as cool as the mid 20s in Northeast Montana.
A cold front moving in Friday will bring cooler temperatures and more widespread snow.
Little accumulation expected at lower elevations, but total snow accumulations between Thursday and Friday will be over a foot in some of the mountains in Western and Southern Montana.
The Little Belts will see several inches of fresh snow as well.
