Feeling a little more like Fall

We're leaving the winter weather behind
Posted

It was once again very cold Wednesday morning.

Record low temperatures were recorded in Cut Bank and Great Falls.

Fortunately most of us have warmed above freezing Wednesday afternoon, with some spots already seeing temperatures in the 50s!

It is quite a bit colder where deep snow remains on the ground.

As for sky conditions, the western half of the state is mostly sunny, while the eastern half is dealing with clouds, showers, and even some snowflakes.

Precipitation will be clearing out of the state overnight, and by Thursday our weather is looking nice and sunny, with just a few clouds moving in late.

Thursday will still get off to a fairly cool start, with overnight lows in the upper teens to lower 30s, but will rebound nicely through the day.

Highs in the 50s and even 60s are likely, but it will once again be cooler where deep snow remains on the ground.
