A little breezy Friday

Winds will pick up Thursday evening
Posted

Thursday hasn't been too bad of a day!

We've enjoyed a lot of sunshine, and temperatures have been near average for many of us.

We are starting to see our winds pick up a bit, and that's a trend that will continue.

Winds will gust up to 30 miles per hour in Great Falls and up to 20 miles per hour in Helena Thursday night and Friday.

Even stronger winds are likely along the Rocky Mountain Front, and less wind is expected to the east.

Temperatures will be in the mid 30s for most, but will be once again cooler in Northeast Montana.

The day will start our sunny, with clouds increasing from west to east through the day.

Some mountain snow will develop by Friday afternoon.
