Strong afternoon storms are likely on Friday

A passing cold front will help to kick off stronger storms on Friday.

Daytime high temperatures will remain a bit cooler due to this passing system, likely staying in the mid 70s for most.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to kick up as early as 11:00 am along the Hi-line.

These systems will track to the southeast throughout the day.

Strong isolated storm cells are likely.

The weekend will offer up spotty shower and temperatures in the low 70s.
