Warmer than average temperatures stick around for a while

A few morning showers move out of the Southeast this morning.

We track a few clouds in the sky for most of Central and Southwest Montana this afternoon.

A clipper system moves across the Northeast early, and a Canadian cold front dips down behind that this afternoon.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected in Eastern Montana throughout the morning and afternoon.

Behind the cold front, expect breezy conditions across Eastern Montana with gusts up to 20 to 30 MPH.

In Central Montana, it will be a calmer afternoon with only a slight chance of an afternoon shower- mainly concentrated East of Lewistown.

Temperatures across the state are on the rise tomorrow.

Most of us will be back into the 80s tomorrow afternoon and even reach into the mid to upper 80s by Thursday.

Our next system tracks in late Thursday night, and shower and thunderstorm chances increase for the weekend.
