It is a windy start as you head out the door this morning.

Gusts are already clocking in over 30 MPH, and we can expect some areas to feel gusts over 40 MPH this afternoon.

Wind is a factor in how quickly ground moisture dries out/evaporates, and drier air will also settle which will add to overall dry conditions.

Relative humidity could get down to less than 25% later this afternoon.

We also warm up quite a bit above average once again this afternoon.

Temperatures will top out in the mid to upper 70s.

Expect another sunny and warm day!

These three factors combined do impact our fire outlook this afternoon.

A Red Flag Warning is in effect for the Northeast from 10 AM until 7 PM and any fires that are started will spread quickly in these conditions.

Rain and a possible thunderstorm move in later tonight, and showers will last through Sunday morning.

Easter Sunday is slightly cooler, but mostly rain-free in the afternoon for your annual egg hunt.
