Warmer weather here to stay

High pressure continues to take hold of the Treasure State.

Sunny, warm, and dry weather will stay around all week.

Temperatures go from right at average today to above average by mid to late week.

By Thursday, most of us will have the shorts and t-shirts out with temperatures in the upper 50s!

Quickly warming temperatures will keep us on the look out for areas of flooding.

Ice will start to break apart on river, so we will be on ice jam flooding watch along water ways.

It may be a good idea to start thinking about getting that built up snow around houses pushed away, so basement and low-level flooding don’t occur as easily.
