This morning starts out frigid, but this afternoon promises ‘warmer’ weather.

Central Montana will see a little more sunshine through the afternoon and top out in the mid to low 20s.

We track increasing clouds this evening as another system moves into Western Montana tonight.

Isolated snow chances move into the Plains by Saturday night.

A cold front pushes through Saturday, and temperatures drop to subzero lows again by Saturday evening.

With arctic air moving in, we also track a hefty amount of snow moving in Sunday.

This weekend/early next week’s snow storm is setting up to drop some of the most significant amounts of snow we’ve this season.

Models are trending higher amounts of snow along a line from Great Falls to Lewistown and south.

We will continue to monitor the incoming storm and setup as we head closer to Sunday.
