After a relatively calm Christmas Day, winter weather is beginning to move in.

Snow will continue to push into the state tonight, bringing light to moderate accumulations to Southeast Montana.

Snow totals of around 3 inches are likely, so roads will be slippery.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the impacted areas until 5 PM Wednesday.

Most of Central Montana will miss out on the snow.

In fact, skies will be clearing through the day, with sunshine expected by the afternoon for both Great Falls and Helena.

Overnight lows will be in the teens, with highs in the upper 20s to lower 30s.

Winds will be light.

Another round of very light snow comes Thursday.
