Thursday brings much drier conditions across the state, but we are tracking more wind and milder weather in the forecast.

Gusts could exceed 50 MPH in Central Montana with gusts up to 65 MPH along the Rocky Mountain Front.

Localized areas along the Front could even see gusts over 85 MPH- especially in areas that are prone to higher wind gusts like Deep Creek.

A High Wind Warning is in effect for areas along the Rocky Mountain Front through 5 PM this evening due to the high gusts forecasted for this afternoon.

Clouds dominate the skies today, but we will be much warmer than we usually are this time of year.

The warming trend continues as we head into next week.
