Slippery roads across Central Montana

Posted

Friday’s round of rain and snow has left many roads slippery.

Rain started in the early morning and quickly turned to snow.

This left a layer of ice on many roads, with snow still piling up on top of the ice.

Roads are particularly bad around and north of Great Falls.

Expect a difficult Friday evening commute, with lingering slippery roads even after snow clears out late Friday night.

Anyone heading to Missoula for the Cat – Griz game should prepare to take it slow.

Be sure to check road conditions before heading out.
