Strong winds in Eastern Montana have made it feel very cool despite a warm up this Thursday.

On Friday, those winds become more widespread.

With the exception of the Helena area, most of the state will be in for winds gusting up to 30 miles per hour, with some even stronger gusts along the Rocky Mountain Front.

This will once again make our temperatures feel cooler than they actually are.

Friday’s temperatures start in the single digits to teens, and climb into the upper 30s to lower 40s.

Another round of snow comes Friday afternoon and lasts into Saturday.

For now, most of the impacts look to be at higher elevations, but we’ll continue to track the system and bring you the latest updates.
