While most of the state will receive rain, areas along and adjacent to the Rocky Mountain Front will see heavy snow.
The heaviest snow will be in the mountains, but up to a foot of snow is possible in St.Mary, 3 to 5 inches in Browning, and 1 to 3 in Cut Bank.
Snow will be heavy and wet.
Temperatures will fall through the evening as a cold front continues to push through.
Both rain and snow will taper off Wednesday morning.
