Boy Scout Troop 214 is flagging houses to donate to the Helena Food Share.

With a suggested donation of $25, Troop 214 will place 50 American flags on your property or someone else’s for a whole day.

According to Troop 214, these flags are to commemorate essential workers on the front lines of the coronavirus and lift their spirits with patriotism from the flags.

Half of all proceeds will go to the Helena Food Share and the other half will help fund summer camp for the scouts.

“But the primary goal is to really do something fun during this time where things are not so much fun. There are bigger things than the virus that we still have. We are still in the greatest country in the world and we are going to come out of this,” says Doug Wheeler, the Scoutmaster of Troop 214.
