Attention job seekers!

Photographers across the country are joining a nationwide effort this Wednesday, July 22, to create 10,000 complimentary professional headshots.

Photographer Dave Shepard, owner of Bozeman Headshots, will join the campaign, taking headshots between 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday out of his shop off Stadium Drive.

Headshots are free and encouraged for those who are unemployed or underemployed.

Shepard says there is a special science and art to a headshot, and a good one can help get a possible employer’s attention.

And yes — they’re a better option than a selfie.

“You want to have an image that represents you at your best. If you look at LinkedIn statistics, people with a professional image on Linkedin get 21 times more views and 9 times more connection requests. Which if you’re on a job search, connection requests are what you want, right?” said Shepard.

All headshot bookings are done online at https://headshotbooker.com/

Spaces are limited, so sign up soon.
