As residents around the state get ready for Phase Two of the state's reopening plan to begin on June 1st, National Laundry is working to educate business owners about how to create a safe environment for customers.

Dennis Fowler is a chemical expert at National Laundry and has worked with businesses around the state. He educates and trains owners and staff on best practices and commercial cleaning.

A resource he's been sharing lately is a five-step guide for a healthy workplace that utilizes EPA-registered products and CDC cleaning standards.

The free materials are available to download and include information for any type of business or facility. Click here to view the materials .

Fowler says he's been advocating for safer work environments for years and is happy businesses are reaching out to create positive change.

"A lot of them were using products that really weren't a disinfectant or a sanitizer or didn't know the difference between a disinfectant and sanitizing,” he said. “We're just trying to help everybody feel safe out there and use good healthy practices."
