Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park is hosting a musical event on Saturday, August 24 starting at 11:00 am.

Montana This Morning's Chet Layman talked with Donna Weldon from the Caverns for This Week in Fish & Wildlife.

Music Days at the Park have attracted local musicians to show off their authentic Montana talent for the last six years. This is the second and final musical event at the park for the season. Stay until the end to join some of your favorite artists in a jam session open to all participants.

Musicians play genres such as country, gospel, folk and blues, as well as original songs.

Schedule:

11:00AM: The Barr family - gospel, country and folk

12:00PM: TBD

1:00PM: Ron and Donna and Ed- folk and variety

2:00PM: Galaxy Drive from Missoula- Americana

3:00PM: Rick Wine - variety

4:00PM: Lance Handyside - southern rock, blues and country

5:00PM Bill Feaster- BLUES

6:00PM: Public Jam Session

Music events will take place in the Group pavilion area of the Lewis and Clark Caverns campground. No food vendors will be available so it is suggested visitors bring their own. The entire day’s events are free.
