Face the State looks back on 66th Session

Posted

MTN News provided comprehensive coverage of the 66th Legislature and the aftermath of the session.

In this week’s installment of Face the State, MTN Chief Political Reporter Mike Dennison takes a deeper dive into the results, and politics, of the session.

He’s joined by two legislative leaders, one from each party: Republican Senate President Scott Sales, of Bozeman, and Democratic House Minority Leader Casey Schreiner, of Great Falls.

Sales and Schreiner give their takes on the outcome of the session – wherein majority republicans and minority democrats are each claiming some significant victories.

The trio also discusses the split in the Republican Party that played a big role this session, as well as Medicaid expansion to sports gambling.

Face the State airs every Sunday at 6:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on all MTN stations.
