A man died in a crash near Big Sky on Thursday.
The Montana Highway Patrol responded to the crash on Thursday afternoon on Highway 191 near Big Sky.
Officials say a pickup truck was southbound at mile marker 50 at around noon when it ran off the road and ended up in the Gallatin River on its top.
The driver, a 41-year-old man from Belgrade, died at the scene.
The man’s name has not yet been released.
Traffic was backed up as authorities worked to clear the scene.
The MHP is investigating the crash.
