Morgan Pierce of Lewistown has been crowned as the new Miss Montana Teen USA for the 2019-2020 term.
Pierce is a 15-year-old sophomore at Fergus High School.
After competing in just two pageants, she secured the big win at last weekend's Miss Montana Teen USA competition in Missoula.
Pierce has been a pageant fan for years and vowed that one day she'd walk the stage too.
She told MTN News, "Growing up, I watched the Miss USA pageant on TVv every single year with my mom, and I always looked at those girls as such big role models and inspirations, and I said when I'm old enough to go into the teen division, that's what I want to do."
The Miss Montana USA website says of Pierce: "She fell in love with dance at the age of five and has traveled as far as California, Florida and New York to perform. She is very active at her studio and loves teaching class to the younger dancers. After college, she plans to be a nurse or counselor."
Pierce will now compete against titleholders throughout the country at the Miss Teen USA competition in April.
She is excited about all she’ll get to experience during her year-long reign, especially her establishment of the first Girl Talk chapter in Lewistown; Girl Talk is a national organization dedicated to teaching girls leadership skills through mentorship.
