A power outage is affecting residents in Meagher County.
Meagher County Fire/DES reported the power for many in the county has been out since 8 a.m. Tuesday.
According to NorthWestern Energy, the outage is affecting about 1,000 customers in and around White Sulphur Springs.
Power is expected to be restored around 6 p.m. There is no word yet on the cause of the outage.
Meagher County Fire/DES stated officials are concerned about elderly who are on oxygen. They also reported many businesses are not fully functional.
