ST. REGIS – Traffic continues to be an issue for anyone traveling west of Missoula.
Avalanches have shut down Interstate 90 in the westbound lanes near St. Regis. A report came in just after 4 p.m. Wednesday closing all traffic headed west.
The Montana Department of Transportation reported the avalanche happened at mile marker 33.5 near St. Regis. There were no reports of injuries.
Earlier on Wednesday afternoon, a snow slide shut down the westbound lanes of I-90 one mile east of the Montana-Idaho border at Lookout Pass. The road is still closed.
