Widespread showers will continue into the weekend, due to the passage of a cold front through Montana.
The rain will track from west to east throughout the day.
By Friday morning the most significant rain will be well into eastern Montana.
Some mountain snow isn’t out of the question as temperatures will be significantly cooler than average.
Showers will persist through Saturday for most of the state.
