Montana Ag Network Weather: March 20th

Posted

High pressure continues to allow for mostly sunny skies and temperatures just above average this week.

Due to the somewhat rapid warm up, some lowland flooding is likely.

Early on I suspect the Hi-Line and Eastern Montana to see the most lowland flooding.

Mountain snow pack isn’t as impressive as 2018 but some flooding is still possible along the Rocky Mountain Front.

The high pressure system currently over Montana will break down a bit this weekend, opening up the possibility for a few showers.
