Montana Ag Network Weather: March 19th

Posted

Temperatures begin to trend slightly above average as high pressure builds over Montana.

The high 40s are expected on Tuesday and we’ll likely break the 50s on Wednesday.

Snow pack in the mountains is nowhere as impressive as what we experienced last year.

Many ranges are below 90 percent of normal with only southwestern Montana around or just above 100 percent.

With that said some flooding is likely but nothing like what we had last year.

Standing water will likely be a bit more of an impact in the plains compared to last year.
