As anticipated, our next winter storm system is on track to impact Montana late Tuesday night.
Periods of blowing and drifting snow are expected ahead its arrival.
Snow is on track to move over the Continental Divide around nine, in turn impacting Central Montana by 11:00 pm.
An additional four to six inches of snow is likely for the Central Plains.
The Hi-line is not expected to see near as much accumulation, more likely around and inch or two.
Flurries will linger on Thursday, before finally moving out overnight.
