The recent bout of warm and mild weather has allowed for improvement to pastures and ranges across the state.
According to the latest USDA Crop Progress Report, livestock movement from summer pasture is behind the previous year and 5-year average with 55 percent of cattle and 45 percent of sheep moved.
The slower movement is because of better conditions compared to previous years.
Weather conditions will remain favorable through Wednesday, before our next weather system starts to move in.
