The Montana Air National Guard flew over St. Peter’s Health Wednesday, May 6th, to commemorate front line workers.

The Air National Guard flew over 20 Montana cities using C-130 aircraft. Two planes began in Great Falls. One plane took the eastern route and ended in Bozeman while the plane on the western route flew over Helena and ended in Cascade.

Front line workers were outside the hospital viewing the flyover and appreciated the honor.

"We view the military and the National Guard as our heros and the people that care for us and keep us safe and help provide us our freedom. So, to have them actually honoring us, we are so humble and really it’s an honor that they are thinking about us,” says Kari Parmer, Senior Nursing Director.

According to the National Guard’s Facebook Page , the flyovers are done with no added cost to taxpayers and serve as training for the pilots.
