The Flathead Civil Air Patrol Squadron is looking for help to help in placing holiday wreaths on the graves of veterans at cemeteries in the Flathead Valley on Friday.

Members of the Flathead Composite Squadron 53 of the Civil Air Patrol have partnered with Wreaths Across America (WAA).

WAA is a nonprofit organization that recognizes U.S. military veterans by placing remembrance wreaths on graves of the fallen during the holiday season.

The volunteers will place 1,800 wreaths on the graves of veterans laid to rest at Glacier Memorial Gardens, Conrad Cemetery and Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls.

Wreath laying will take place on Dec. 13 at 8 a.m. starting at Glacier Memorial Gardens. Volunteers will then move to Conrad Cemetery in Kalispell and Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls.

Anyone interested in volunteering is asked to contact Bob Schneller at 714-815-8243 or at cappilot@charter.net .
