‘Alive at Five’ summer concert series kicks off Wednesday in downtown Helena

HELENA – The annual “Alive at Five” summer concert series kicks off Wednesday evening at Women’s Park.

The family-friendly event includes live music, food trucks, and drinks, and will run for 11 weeks this summer.

The event will alternate between Women’s Park on 500 Fuller Avenue and Pioneer Park on 120 South Last Chance Gulch.

Cassidy Mercer, an organizer for the event, said the lineup includes “can’t-miss” performances.

”We really tried to hit all genres this year,” she remarked. The list includes country, jazz, bluegrass, rock, and more.

Mercer also mentioned that Alive at Five is a great event to get out and be part of the Helena community.

The bands scheduled are below:

  • June 5, 2019: Women’s Park: Paige and the People’s Band
  • June 12, 2019: Pioneer Park: Helena Blues Project
  • June 19, 2019: Women’s Park: Matt Strachan and the Hoot Owls
  • June 26, 2019: Pioneer Park: Local Sports Team
  • July 3, 2019: Women’s Park: Stumbling Free
  • July 10, 2019: Pioneer Park: Dodgy Mountain Men
  • July 17, 2019: Women’s Park: The Talbott Brothers
  • July 24, 2019: Pioneer Park: Letter B
  • July 31, 2019: Women’s Park: Vinyl City
  • August 7, 2019: Pioneer Park: Lowdown Brass Band
  • August 14, 2019: Women’s Park: Justin Case Band
