HELENA — Spring has finally sprung with the opening of Bill Roberts Municipal Golf Course on Tuesday.

This year, the course is also celebrating the opening of its newly-renovated bar and grill, “Muni’s.” The restaurant recently opened its doors to the public.

Friends and family can play 18 holes of golf for $36 and rent a golf cart for $8 a person.

Juniors and seniors as well as all military are discounted. Children from 6-18 can play for $175. A season pass for the course is $746 for adults, and $380 for adults ages 19-29.

“Muni’s” offers an assortment of appetizers, burgers, wraps and more.

Scott Longenecker, head golf professional, expressed enthusiasm saying, “We’re excited to be able to do club fit and get people dialed-in to their golf equipment with the simulators so we will be able to do that all year. But mostly we are just looking forward to getting outside and seeing the ball fly.”
