HELENA – The Helena Parks & Recreation Department says that its missing Sasquatch has been found.

The Sasquatch cut-out was reported missing last month.

It was stationed near the Beattie Street Trailhead on the Pay Dirt trail as part of a campaign by the Parks Department to encourage people to explore trails, learn about Helena, and take selfies with Bigfood.

The cable lock and zip ties that secured it had been cut.

According to a Facebook post by the Parks Department on Thursday, two people found Sasquatch a bit off trail. There is no word on the culprit.

Our missing Squatch has been FOUND! Two citizens reported seeing him wandering off trail. He’s a bit beat up, but it seems like he’ll make a quick recovery and get back to the trails soon. 🌲🏔🌲
