One person dead in Helena apartment fire
Firefighters responded to reports of the fire at 2009 Livingston Avenue in Helena at about 7:45 a.m.
The building showed visible damage and smoke could be seen coming from the roof.
According to Chambers, the person who died in the fire was the only occupant of the apartment unit.
Firefighters had the fire extinguished by 8:00 a.m.

The identity of the person who died has not been released at this time.
Helena Fire Department investigators said the fire appeared to be electrical in nature and started by an electrical plug strip.
