GREAT FALLS — A youth basketball organization is getting young athletes out and playing in Great Falls during the holiday break.

Montana Hoops is a basketball program that provides opportunities to student athletes in the Treasure State through travel teams, camps, clinics, and tournaments.

Founded in 1996, Montana Hoops has had a long history of aiding young basketball players.

On Monday, December 28th, and Tuesday, December 29th, Montana Hoops hosted two holiday basketball clinics for boys and girls enrolled in 3rd- 8th grade at the Salvation Army Gymnasium.

Money raised from this event went to the Salvation Army and to fund future clinics.

Montana Hoops is proud to coach the Big Sky’s young athletes and keep them active year-round.

“There’s a certain pride about Montana and being from Montana,” said Montana Hoops founder and director J.C. Isakson. “We love our own and we want to be an organization in Montana, made for Montana players, to give them Montana opportunities.”

Montana Hoops will host another student-athlete basketball clinic in January 2021.
