GREAT FALLS — The Ivy at Great Falls is giving kids an opportunity to win a prize and bring smiles to seniors. The senior living facility has two pictures available for kids to color.

Residents at the center will judge the colored pictures. The kid who colors the one they like the best will get a kid-friendly Valentine’s Day gift basket.

Erin Doran, admissions and marketing director at The Ivy, said the seniors are excited to see the pictures.

"It's hard for them not to see their families, it's hard for them not to see all these kids groups come in. So I just think that anything different, you know, cards, valentines, anything helps them, cheers them up. The staff looks for any opportunity to help cheer them up,” Doran said.

The deadline to submit pictures is February 12. Pictures can be printed from the center’s Facebook page or can be picked up at the center, which is located at 1130 17th Avenue South.

Complete pictures can be dropped off at the center or submitted via Facebook message.
