If you received a new smartphone or tablet during the holiday season, or if you're overwhelmed or a bit confused about all of the features and options on new devices, there is free help available.

Verizon Cellular Plus at 701 3rd Street NW offers a free monthly class to help people figure it all out.

The class includes information on how to become more tech savvy with your smart device.

Store manager Jennifer Sickafoose said that questions range from basic to more technical: "How to send a text message with a picture on it, how do I record a video, or how can I get the weather app. We will start with very bare minimum basics then go over what they want to know, because every class is different. We don’t want to teach them things they already know.

The store hosts the class on the second Thursday of every month from 5 pm to 7 pm, and Sickafoose says that it is open to everyone, regardless of whether you are a Verizon customer or use another carrier.

For more information, you can call the store at 406-216-5600, or email jsickafoose@cellularplus.com.
