Escape The Falls: Escape Rooms, at 511 Central Avenue in downtown Great Falls, has a new owner.

Tianta Stevens had her first experience with escape rooms three years ago when she was visiting Salt Lake City with her son.

She said, “I thought it was just such a neat experience and I thought Great Falls could really benefit from one of these.”

She returned to Great Falls and started doing research about escape rooms and learned how popular they are around the world.

But while researching, she found out an escape room place was already set to open in Great Falls.

Tianta recalled, “I thought, ‘Well, I guess the timing wasn’t right. It wasn’t meant to be.”’

Fast forward to a few years later, when she was informed by a friend that the place was being sold. She couldn’t let the chance pass her by.

Escape The Falls has four escape rooms: The Peacock Room, The Asylum, Cooper Cabin, and Lost in Wonderland.

Each room has a different scenario with different clues and puzzles.

A group of people can pick a room and has one hour to figure out the clues and escape the room.

“We get families in here of all ages and groups of friends,” Tianta said. “People coming with work, their corporate offices will come in to do team building because to do an escape room there’s a lot of communication and collaboration to escape the rooms.”

For a few months, the current layout of the rooms will stay the same - but Tianta plans to phase out old rooms and put in new scenarios.

Tianta also manages Act Normal Theatre, which hosts murder mystery dinner shows in Great Falls.
