Bring your appetite because Alluvion Health and Montana State University Extension are hosting a series called "Dining With Diabetes."
The free classes are for people who want to learn strategies to manage their diabetes through meal planning, carbohydrate counting, portion control, and label reading.
Participants can sample healthy foods that are made utilizing the concepts taught.
Pauline Conway, a family nurse practitioner with Alluvion, said, “I just hope people will come because it’s going to give us a great opportunity to interact and people will be able to ask questions. It’s structured but it’s a very open and friendly and we want people to come to communicate.“
The classes will be on November 7th, 14th, 21st, and December 5th from 4-6pm at Alluvion Health Center (601 1st Avenue North).
