The annual Harvest Howl fundraiser to benefit Camp Rotary is coming up on Saturday, November 2nd, in Great Falls - and organizers announced this week a big change.

Originally, the bands Smashmouth and Los Lonely Boys were scheduled to perform, but recently had to cancel. Faced with a looming deadline, Harvest Howl organizers announced this week that they have lined up two bands to replace them: World Classic Rockers, and Starship featuring Mickey Thomas.

World Classic Rockers is a band that includes musicians from several famous rock bands, including Nick St. Nicholas of Steppenwolf, Aynsley Dunbar of Journey, Randall Hall of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Greg Walker of Santana.

Starship featuring Mickey Thomas has had several Top 40 hits and classic rock songs, including “Jane,“ "We Built this City,” and “Sara."

No specific reason for the cancellation of the first two bands has been released; the Harvest Howl website notes: "Unfortunately, both Smash Mouth and Los Lonely Boys had to cancel at the last minute due to different circumstances."

Tickets purchased for the original performers are valid for the new performers. Harvest Howl will provide refunds for anyone that bought tickets and does not want to attend due to the change.

Proceeds from Harvest Howl go toward the improvement, maintenance, and operation of Camp Rotary near Monarch. In addition to the live music, the event will feature several food vendors including Teriyaki Madness, Smoked, and William & Roberts BBQ. Also on tap is a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, and a beer garden. Click here for more information and tickets .
