Business leaders in Great Falls say this year's Small Business Saturday (November 28) might be the most important one ever.

The Great Falls Chamber of Commerce put together a list of Great Falls-area stores that could benefit from your business this holiday season. The list shows whether each business offers curbside pickup, shipping from the store, or online shopping. (Click here to see the full list.)

Since the pandemic, many small businesses in the Golden Triangle have stepped up their presence online, in an effort to attract customers who are wary of venturing out in public. But public health precautions will be in place on Saturday for many small businesses — as they have been for months — including social distancing signs and hand sanitizer. Face coverings are required in almost all public places in Montana. Shane Etzwiler, the president of the Great Falls Chamber of Commerce, told MTN News in October the majority of businesses in Great Falls are complying with public health guidelines .

Brett Doney, the executive director of the Great Falls Development Authority, said despite the pandemic, he's optimistic about the days and weeks ahead.

"2021 is going to be a very exciting year for Great Falls and the surrounding Golden Triangle," he said. "I think our economy's going to roar back, but it's very important that we all hang together and get through the long winter, and supporting our local businesses is a great way to keep them going and give them the cash to get through the winter."
