Man accused of taking WA woman against her will arrested in Polson

POLSON — A Washington State man who is suspected of taking a woman against her will and traveling to Western Montana is now behind bars.

Lake County Sheriff Don Bell says that John Monday, 34, of Spokane, was arrested by Polson police on Wednesday.

Monday is now behind bars in the Lake County Dentition Center.

The Lake County Sheriff's Office reported Tuesday night that 20-year-old Korrine Peterson was found by Idaho State Police.

Monday is accused of taking 20-year-old Korrine Peterson of Spokane against her will.

Sheriff Bell says deputies and the FBI are working on this case.
