BUTTE — A Butte man was shot in the ankle while driving his car on Christmas Eve.
The victim told police he was shot as he was pulling out of the Walmart parking lot south onto Harrison Avenue at about 2:45 p.m. The victim told investigators that a man he knows pulled up alongside of him in a white Honda and fired a shot through the victim’s driver’s side door striking him in the ankle.
No arrests have been made as of Monday and the incident remains under investigation.
