HELENA – A judge set bond at $10,000 for an 18-year-old Helena man accused of sexual assault.
Blake Riley McHugh appeared via video in Lewis and Clark County Justice Court Monday.
According to court documents, police responded to the hospital to investigate an alleged sexual assault on Saturday.
A woman told police she was extremely intoxicated when the alleged assault occurred.
Court records show when police first questioned McHugh, he denied having intercourse with the woman.
Then, he reportedly admitted there were indications she didn’t fully consent.
McHugh has been charged with one felony count of sexual intercourse without consent.
