BOZEMAN – The Bozeman Police Department has released the name of the man and woman who died in a murder-suicide Wednesday in Bozeman.
According to officials, Sean Raidley, 31, and Carissa Perkins, 29, both died from gunshot wounds at a residence in the 800 block of Longbow Lane.
Investigators said it appears Raidley used a handgun to shoot Perkins and then himself.
No one else was in the residence at the time, according to officials, and it’s unclear exactly when or why the incident occurred.
Raidley and Perkins appeared to be in a dating relationship, but there was no indication or history of violence.
Raidley, from Pennsylvania, and Perkins, from Florida, had moved to Bozeman together within the past few months.
The incident is under investigation by the Bozeman Police Department with help from the Gallatin County Coroner’s Office and the MSU/Bozeman Police Department Special Victims Unit.
