HELENA – A 38-year-old Helena woman is accused of raping a minor.
Reene Marie Mills appeared via video in Lewis and Clark County Justice Court Tuesday on one felony count of sexual intercourse without consent and one felony count of sexual assault.
According to court documents, investigators were alerted to an alleged sexual assault by a counselor who interviewed the victim.
Authorities said during a forensic interview, the victim described two incidents where Mills reportedly raped or sexually assaulted them in early 2014.
Mills has previously been investigated for sexual abuse.
In 2016, she was also charged with sexual intercourse without consent.
Mills’ bond was set at $50,000 and she was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
