Montana Leather Company in downtown Billings made the switch Monday to an all-online platform.

Doug MacPherson and web designer Patrick MacPherson said that they have seen an increase in sales since switching to an online only platform.

“Even during the outbreak that’s occurred here, we’ve even seen an uptick slightly in online sales, 'cause people are on their phones at home, computers, tablets. On top of that, they are looking for stuff to do and we offer quite a bit for hobbyist,” said Patrick.

The company offers a wide variety of leather kits that can be purchased on their website .

“Online right now, we’re currently in the midst of a campaign to get some more tutorials on making various things from belts to bags, wallets, you name it, that people can follow online” said Patrick.
