The City-County Health Department in Great Falls said on Sunday that it has been notified of a new case of COVID-19 in Cascade County, bringing the cumulative number of cases in the county to 19.

The Sunday case, according to the CCHD, is a man in his 60s.

This follows Saturday's announcement of another new case in Cascade County. The CCHD said of that case in a Facebook post: "This individual is a woman in her 50s with no history of travel or contact with a known case. The origin of this patient's infection cannot be determined, suggesting this infection was community-acquired."

The case reported on Sunday is also likely community-acquired, the CCHD said. The agency did not release any other details about either case.

The CCHD says if you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19, call your healthcare provider and arrange to get tested. If you do not have symptoms but would like to be tested, visit Alluvion Health’s drive-through testing clinic (open 7 days a week, located in Westgate Mall parking lot). Call 406-791-7929 or visit AlluvionHealth.org for more information.

Montana added 14 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across eight counties on Sunday, according to the Montana Response COVID-19 tracking map.

Custer County saw the biggest jump, adding five new cases. Big Horn County and Ravalli County each added two new cases, while Cascade County, Flathead County, Gallatin County, Lewis & Clark County, and Missoula County all added one confirmed case.

The new cases bring the state cumulative total to 601. There have been 510 recoveries and there are currently 72 active COVID-19 cases statewide. MTN is reporting one fewer total case and one fewer recovered case due to a case in Jefferson County that local health authorities report involved a patient who was not in the state.

Gallatin County has 32 active cases, the most in the state. Big Horn County has 10 active cases, while Yellowstone County has six. Custer County, which added five new cases in the prior 24-hour reporting period, now has eight active cases.

There have been 77 total hospitalizations, six of which are active. There have been 19 deaths in the state.

There have been a total of 58,907 tests statewide, an increase of 903 since the previous 24-hour reporting period.
