After an active Saturday afternoon and evening with showers, storms and even severe storms, we see that same potential again on Sunday.

Storms develop along the Rockies and in SW MT and move east and northeast into the plains.

The threats include: frequent cloud-to-ground lightning,  quarter size hail, heavy downpours and wind gusts up to 60 mph.

The severe storm threat moves into southern and eastern portions of the state on Monday.

But, areas from Helena to Lewistown could still see some shower and storm activity on Monday.

Temperatures remain in the 80’s all work week.

Drier and windier conditions move in by the end of the work week, including Thursday and Friday, where we’ll have to keep an eye out for fire weather conditions.

Next chance of seeing precipitation looks to be next weekend.

We’ll continue to keep you updated.
