Severe weather chances again in the forecast to end our weekend.

Portions of Montana are under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch through 10 PM Sunday.

This means there is the possibility of severe thunderstorms developing, which could bring heavy downpours, hail and strong wind gusts up to 60 mph.

Storms develop in SW MT and move East and Northeast throughout the afternoon and evening.

Right now, clouds and showers and hindering instability, which helps the production of thunderstorm activity.

If we see some sunshine peaks, that could get things going.

There is also a Flash Flood Watch in effect through this evening as well.

Expect another round of storms and showers on Monday, mostly over SW, Central and Eastern MT.

Temperatures on Monday are also expected to be well below average as an upper level low moves out of the area.

By Wednesday, we’ll see a big warm up with temperatures back in the 80s and 90s through next weekend.
